Our sixteenth release comes from Žhii out of Edmonton, Alberta. No Frontier is a collection of four songs that tread everywhere from '60s psychedelia and UK bass to hip-hop and drone metal, riding on waves of luminous guitars and cavernous sound effects, limber live drums with heartbeat kicks, and churning, capricious synthesizers – a forward-thinking flourish of sounds unabashedly borrowed from Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Further-era Chemical Brothers in equal measure. No Frontier reinterprets messages, ideas and textures as it moves from one physical space to the next. Thematic undercurrents of suffering, faith and duty emerge from field recordings of the Prairie backcountry, the crackle of a car's AM radio and the furor of protests in cities across North America.

Our fifteenth release comes from Calmpound out of Nelson, BC. All the songs were recorded and written from 12-5am, hence the title Early Hours. At one moment he takes a minimalist approach, and at another he layers soundscapes with vocal samples and frenetic percussion. The contrast of sounds leave you submerged in the shadows while occasionally surfacing to find glimmers of warmth in the air.

Our fourteenth release comes from Alexander Ocho out of the Bay Area, CA. He is a twenty-year-old producer who has recently discovered his joy for music making. His interest in songwriting was inspired by visiting San Francisco and spending time with close friends. After diving into production with a few necessary tools, he began to bring his dreams to life. This EP has a sense of curious longing, but also leaves you in a state of relaxed contentment.
